“Upcoming acts should rope in band managers to organise shows and search for sponsors,” he added.
Popularly known as The Headmaster in music circles, Nyabinde hinted that as an established artist, he was willing to assist upcoming musicians if it were not for their conduct.
“Some of the young artistes are unprofessional. They approach you the very same day of your show asking to curtain raise and expect you to give them the green light. I cannot just bring in someone I do not know to curtain raise my show. What if they perform badly, it’s my name that goes on the line,” he said.
