SA Home Affairs abuse

EDITOR – I want to alert the powers that be of the behaviour of the security staff at Mafoko Security and a Home Affairs official whose duty it has been to collect permits for renewal . I went to renew mine recently.

The official was verbally and physically abusive to those of us in the queue. He swore at women and promised that anyone who didn’t hear him calling their name – especially those he can’t pronounce properly that he would clap them.

Then he clapped two people. I have alerted Cape Town police CID security and the Archdiocese of Cape Town where i am studying for the priesthood and have just completed my theology degree. – David Nyandoro, Cape Town
