The concerts reflected on the unprecedented keen interest by youth to be registered as voters in time for the constitutional referendum and harmonised elections expected this year.
The concerts were held at Checheche and Rimbi business centres on 8- 9 February 2013 and more than 500 people attended.
Young musicians Tryson Chimbetu, Jah Prayzah and Freeman entertained the fans at the concerts that PYD used as a public education campaign.

PYD Director, Claris Madhuku, said there was a sharp rise in the number of youths visiting their offices to enquire about the voter registration process.
“Some 300 prospective voters made enquiries about voter registration at our offices last Sunday (10 February). We are doing everything possible to assist them register as they so wish,” said Madhuku.
Madhuku said young prospective voters continued to face challenges regarding voter registration.
“People living at the Zimbabwe border with Mozambique would find the separating distances to the nearest registration centres prohibitive,”
said Madhuku, adding that aspiring registrants would be forced to fork out $10 to access the registration centres.
The Zimbabwe Electoral Commission is expected to embark on a nationwide mobile voter registration which is hamstrung by lack of funding ahead of the two plebiscites.
There are reports that some people are being denied confirmation of residence letters by their traditional leaders.
