The Bulawayo-born great, one of the most popular players to emerge from Zimbabwe, said he had enlisted the services of Calin Constanceanu from Romania, Yves Boulais from Canada, and former WTA Pro Patricia Hy-Boulais at his North Atlanta Tennis Academy, founded by the Zimbabwean when he retired as a professional player four years ago.
“We specialize in all levels, but our international programme currently works with several top juniors in the United States and Melanie Oudin, currently ranked 178 in the Women’s Tennis Association Tour,” said the United States Professional Tennis Association-certified teaching pro.
Prior to founding North Atlanta Tennis Academy, Wadawu (37) was contracted to the Riverside Club, which he joined at the prime of his career in May 2000. He graduated from Florida University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Masters in sport management and has worked with many junior and professional players.
