Award-winning Prosper Mateva will headline, performing alongside compatriot Mkhululi Bhebhe, currently riding high with iconic South African choir Joyous Celebration.
The event on March 16 at the Doxa Deo AFM church will also feature a number of regional artists, including Botswana’s Soul’D and Franklyn. “I can only promise that those who attend the show will get the best out of us because whenever we get to the stage, we make sure the show is a memorable one. We have not disappointed our fans and this night will not be an exception,” said Mateva. Through his music, he has proven that language is not a barrier when it comes to worship and can unite people from different backgrounds in worshiping God.
The 30-year-old man from Gweru has been riding high here since the release of his debut album. Last year, he won the Best Discovery of the Year award at the 2012 edition of the UK’s Africa Gospel Music Awards, when he beat nine other artists from Kenya, Nigeria and the United Kingdom.
