Agnes Gudza, a former ZBC employee, told a local daily paper that Decibel dumped her and their two children Daniella (8) and Ocean (6), when he left for the United Kingdom despite the fact that they were living together. In a bid to set the record straight, Decibel went overboard castigating his “ex-wife” as “just a loose girl.” The “Chido” hit-maker went on to deny earlier assertions made by Gudza that they were married. He also professed ignorance over the paternity of “his” children despite the fact that they are living with his parents in Masvingo.
“Did I sleep with her? yes like nine years ago. Did I ever live with her? NO. Did I marry her? Hell no. Was she my girlfriend? No, she was just a loose girl, no strings (attached) and she knew this. Are her kids mine? I don’t know maybe. Did I pay any maintenance? no she asked me for money on regular basis when I was still in Zimbabwe. But after I left my (new) wife and I called her to arrange for maintenance but she refused. Only to then go and dump them at my home in Masvingo. Do I owe her anything? No. Maybe a tongue lashing but she is not worth it,” said Decibel.
Decibel’s reckless statements did not go down well with his fans who accused him of undermining women and abandoning his children.
