I loved Rejoice Ngwenja’s open letter to VP Mujuru. He is a man who has a knack of going for the jugular and hitting the nail squarely on its head. Vince Musewe’s briefings are excellent and obviously come from a heart that is true and deep thinking. I like the way he opens up a matter and provokes healthy debate and sparks a deeper contemplation of that which is true. I could carry on and mention Magari Mandebvu and Tawanda Majoni and others who write with a concern for their nation using their talent to uncover the truth that is Zimbabwe. And last but not least thank you to the editors who have stayed the pace in the face of what must have been incredible opposition and difficulties.
It is easy for readers like myself to pick up a daily or weekly without realising the difficulties and challenges that come with being the ‘free press’ in a nation like Zimbabwe.
