“We want to exhibit the talent and beauty of young Zimbabwean women based in here. We will be conducting auditions in June. A lot of Zimbabweans have been crying for a beauty pageant and now it’s their time,” said pageant Director Maynard Chizavare.
The pageant will also seek to create a partnership between Zimbabweans living in Cape Town and local South Africans to minimise xenophobia.
