
The highly anticipated double CD features 26 tracks and is expected to hit the streets in May. It is loaded with punch-line rhymes complemented lyrics set to take the rap industry by storm. Eight singles that have been released off the album are already getting rave reviews online.
Rhyme Assassin who was the 2012 Zimma Male Artist of the Year, said he would be shooting three videos for the album. His decade in the UK is evident in his music. “The advantage you get being in a vibrant music industry like UK is quality recording and there are a lot of platforms where to showcase your talent. That’s my main advantage,” he said.
The gifted rapper said the local rap industry was headed for a bright future. He recently performed at the Bigger than Hip-hop Show at Amakhosi Theatre in Bulawayo featuring over 15 other emcees.
Born Tichaona Brian Monera, Rhyme Assassin has worked on a number of creative initiatives including rap battles and live performances back in 2000-2002. Both his solo and collaborative performances have mesmerized audiences.
