INDUSTRIALS
The industrial index gained 0.7 points (0.37%) to 189.64 points. LAFARGE (LACZ.zw) rose 10 cents to 90 cents, BAT (BAT.zw) was 5 cents firmer at 755 cents and DELTA (DLTA.zw) picked up a cent to trade at 127 cents. CBZ (CBZ.zw) added 0.9 cents to 13.5 cents and EDGARS (EDGR.zw) increased by 0.1 cents to settle at 12.1 cents.
FIDELITY (FIDL.zw) and TRUWORTHS (TRUW.zw) were amongst the losers, each shedding a cent to trade at 12 cents and 4 cents respectively. ZBFH (ZBFH.zw) lost 0.9 cents to 9.1 cents, TA HLDS (TAHO.zw) retreated 0.8 cents to 9 cents and NICOZ DIAMOND (NICO.zw) was 0.1 cents weaker at 1.4 cents.
MININGS
The mining index rose 0.98 points (1.38%) to settle at 71.98 points due to BINDURA (BIND.zw) which had a firm bid at 2.9 cents. FALGOLD (FALG.zw), HWANGE (HCCL.zw), and RIOZIM (RIOZ.zw) were unchanged at previous trading levels.
