Sitting Zanu (PF) legislator, Tranos Huruva, is up against his younger brother,
John Huruva, of the MDC formation led by Prime Minister Morgan
Tsvangirai.
The Huruva brothers have pledged to have a free and fair poll if
they win tickets to represent their parties in the
elections.
“I do not hate my brother but I hate Zanu (PF),” said John.
However, Tranos accused his brother of being a political novice.
“I am going to teach him a
lesson through the ballot,” said the elder Huruva.
The two brothers said they wanted people to vote freely.
John will have to battle it out with former
MDC-T provincial chairman and aspirant, Benard Chiondegwa.
Chiondegwa has contested the Chivi North parliamentary seat since
the formation of the MDC-T and in all cases lost to Zanu (PF).
Currently all the Chivi seats are held by Zanu (PF) party.
