Zanu PF voting kicks off at night

Few voters turned out for Zanu PF primaries that kicked off around 7 in the evening in Karoi town as confusion continued to rock the party. They were due to end around 10 pm. Disgruntled voters complained that they had waited since morning.

"Everything here is not organised as there is no ink yet we must be voting.

Ballot papers were late" said David Marecha of Ward 4.

However, the delays were caused by lack of stationery that saw aspiring candidates paying $10 to purchase stationery. The ballot papers were intially posted to a command centre about 15 kilometers away from where they were verified before they were dispatched to various polling centres at ward level.
