Jah Prayzah was recently quoted in a local daily saying that he did not support Zanu (PF).
“Zanu (PF) is not
happy with what he said. They believe he owes them something for turning him into a successful musician,” said a well-placed source.
The source said Media, Information and Publicity Minister Webster Shamu was instrumental in showcasing Prayzah’s talent.
Shamu has also given support to numerous other artistes and is the patron of the Zimbabwe Union of Musicians. 
Apart from airplay on the local airwaves, Prayzah has played at several Zanu (PF) rallies and state functions.
The source said Prayza might be denied airplay and excluded from future galas as retribution.
