He is one of the people who built and strengthened the MDC and only foolish foreign or indigenous analysts would listen to political chaff emanating from Zanu (PF) and MDC-T functionaries. The MDC is a strong political party with powerful individuals within it and will never be shaken by any storm from any angle.
Attempts by some groups to force the party into a marriage of convenience with violent and corrupt parties using stupid tactics will never be accepted. Ncube has practical plans that will take Zimbabwe forward. Democratic collective decision making processes, accountability, tolerance of diversity of opinion and condemnation of corruption are some of the principles that will be visibly dominant in an MDC government. The crowds at the official campaign launch in Chikomba central, Mashonaland east and Binga, Matebeleland north prove that Ncube is the hot favourite in the 2013. Those dreaming about events of 2008 or believing that Robert Mugabe and Morgan Tsvangirai are the front runners are misguided.
Ncube will never give Mugabe or Tsvangirai a free passage to state house. They must not expect an easy walk to state because Ncube has started a serious hunt for the state house keys.
Our party has lined up powerful and energetic candidates for the July 31 battle in areas as far as Binga, Mudzi, Gokwe, Malipati, Bubi, Mutoko and Guruve. Some of the candidates unleashed to do duty are Goodrich Chimbaira, David Coltart, Sindiso Mazibisa, Mtshobane Ncube, Qhubani Moyo, Godwin Masiya, Linos Paul Mushonga and Davies Mundirwira. The green team is ready for the battle and real change is coming.
