If Zanu PF secure a 2/3 majority then this will allow them to amend the new constitution.
(Please note that one of Independent seats (Bikita West) was won by Munyaradzi Kereke and announced by ZEC as a Zanu PF victory. Confusion reigns because prior to the elections Kereke was expelled from the Zanu PF party. We have accordingly – for now – identified him as an Independent. But this might change on our map once clarified).
