If the regime could get the $27 billion ZimAsset implemented then that would create two million jobs and everyone would live happily ever after!
Zanu PF members left the country in droves in the last 15 years to escape the country’s growing poverty. The party’s electoral success in 2013 was like the tropical storm marking the end of the decade-long drought. The Zanu PF toads broke out of their tombs and started their mating calls without waiting to see if Mugabe could rig economic recovery with his ZimAsset plan!
After a year, with the ZimAsset begging bowl still mockingly empty, it is surprising that these Zanu PF toads still continue with their spawning to form party chapters. Someone has hammered into their toad-heads that unless money is found to finance ZimAsset Zanu PF is doomed because they have been talking of nothing else at their spawning parties.
“Leading this initiative is the ZANU PF UK Science and Technology Secretary; Dr Samuel Chindaro, who gave a ground-breaking presentation on Zim Asset in Mainland Europe; following a series of presentations in the UK. In his opening remarks, Dr Chindaro emphasised the fact Zim Asset was a national policy and it was therefore imperative that every Zimbabwean snap out of the “elections mode”, support and participate in its implementation,” reported the Zimeye.
Dr Chindaro; why don’t you put your money where your mouth is and buy these ZimAsset bonds Zanu PF has been trying to sell to Zimbabweans in the diaspora and stop dictating to others what they should do with their own money. The arrogance of the upstart is insufferable; he gives himself a “Zanu PF” title and he immediately assumes Mugabe’s tyrannical airs!
“Dr Agatha Benyera Mararike, a member of the Women’s League and the Chairperson for the Kent Branch of ZANU PF UK gave an inspiring presentation on women empowerment and how they could participate in business,” said the report.
Another DR “empty head”; like Mugabe they all have high qualifications but no common sense! Well she needs to step up with her “inspiring presentations” because companies are closing down every day because Mugabe has failed to address the underlying causes of Zimbabwe’s economic meltdown.
Unless Mugabe can rig economic recovery, time is running out for the tyrant, then whatever Zanu PF had gained by rigging the July 2013 elections will come to nothing because the party will be forced to resign and allow free, fair and credible elections. Mugabe rigged the 2013 elections to avoid regime change but his failure to rig economic recovery has brought him back full circle to face the very demon he thought he had cheated – free, fair and credible elections!
As for the Zanu PF toads who have “come out”; I wonder whether they will be honest enough to tell the respective national authority where they have been hiding that they had made a false claim when they first arrived! No! Well I did not think so; an honest and hardworking Zanu PF member would be as alien a toad wearing a hat!
