How about a ministry of pensioners, orphans, the homeless and the unemployed. We are all heroes in todays Zimbabwe. All surviving somehow. These guys have had countless windfalls in the past.if they did nothing with those chances…well…it is time to look forward. Zimbabwe is nothing without its future generations. – Sean Amers
Some people are taking advantage of others by proping the war veterans and armed struggle issue when it suits them even 35 years down the line. They command the army, the police, the prisons, the cio almost all quasi and parastatals most farms, companies and businesses. They at one stage or the other got and are receiving some form of benefits. Some of the likes of Mujuru, Munangagwa, Chihuri, Muchinguri, Mpofu etc are filthy rich while a few unfortunate are poverty striken. The war veterans’ enterests fall under different ministries. The need for such a ministry falls away Mores they are zimbos like anybody else. We have recognised the roll they played in the liberation of zimbabwe. – Moyo Bhowasi
War veterans are simply the Ministry of defence’s baby to carry, they don’t deserve any special treatment that calls for a Ministry to take care of them, some are even working in gvt. Most of them died, just a handful are left. – Gain Sibanda
What for? unless ipapo pagadziriswa nyika icharamba iri pasi economically. – Marshel Mashi Mhloro
No, we don’t need such a useless ministry. We don’t need a bloated cabinet. Ministries like psychomotor & 10 others should collapsed & integrated with viable ministries to reduce gvt costs. – Joel Mutasa
