The two Under-23 players were outstanding for the Bulawayo-based outfit albeit in a loosing cause as their team ended among the four clubs relegated to Division One.

But their effort did not go unnoticed with club General manager Wilbert Sibanda telling The Zimbabwean recently that he was in possession of four letters from some of the league’s top clubs who are interested in the duo’s services.

“Yes, four clubs have expressed interest in acquiring the two players, with some also adding midfielder Raphael Kutinyu. However, our priority at the moment is to secure foreign clubs for the two players.

“If we don’t make headway on that front then we will consider the requests from the local clubs,” Sibanda said.

Masuku, a box to box midfielder, is an exciting prospect who has been to Belgium for trials before. Hadebe on the other hand has come out with top marks after impressing in the heart of defence in his debut season in the top flight.

Sibanda would however not disclose the identity of the clubs seeking the duo’s signatures. Rovers – formed by former Zimbabwe midfielder Methembe Ndlovu, have focussed largely on developing young players, with Kuda Mahachi and Marvellous Nakamba among their most prominent products.
