Bulawayo water woes washed away

BULAWAYO - Bulawayo's water woes seem to be coming to an end with reports of widespread heavy rain over the city and the surrounding catchment areas. sed again after pumping had ceased two months ago, due to insufficient water supply. Several suburbs in both the eastern and western areas have been without water for two months and frequent water cuts were being experienced in most of Bulawayo’s high and low density suburbs. Rainfall figures up until 7 December measured at Goetz Observatory in Bulawayos Kumalo suburb, are 210 mm, a figure well above the normal total of 85 mm which is usually experienced by the end of November. Predictions are good for an above average rainy season for the whole of Zimbabwe.
