Several suburbs in both the eastern and western areas have been without water for two months and frequent water cuts were being experienced in most of Bulawayo’s high and low density suburbs. Rainfall figures up until 7 December measured at Goetz Observatory in Bulawayos Kumalo suburb, are 210 mm, a figure well above the normal total of 85 mm which is usually experienced by the end of November. Predictions are good for an above average rainy season for the whole of Zimbabwe.
