MDC Joburg elects officials

The MDC (Tsvangirai) has intensified its efforts towards a strong and united opposition in South Africa following the establishment of a substantive party structure for the Johannesburg district.
Businessman Austin Moyo was elected unopposed as the new chair with Jimmy Mhlanga as

his deputy.
Other officials elected at the recent district congress were Amon Ncube, secretary, Rose Svondo (treasurer), Philimon “Backdog” Moyo, organising secretary, and Giyani Dube, information and publicity, and Alice Mhlanga, vice secretary.
Veteran politician Remember Moyo was elected in absentia as the vice organising secretary. – CAJ News
