Mine’Entra is a specialised exhibition that caters for the mutually compatible sectors of mining, engineering and transport and their associated industries. ZITF managing director Daniel Chigaru said mid’year timing was for maximum convenience and corresponds to the industry’s main buying and tendering period.
A paltry 82 local exhibitors took part in the exhibition. This is a sharp decline from more than 100 who took part in last year’s exhibition.
This year’s exhibition came at the height of the most severe economic downturn in the history of the country since independence from Britain in 1980.
