How did Gapara really die?

HARARE
A top Zimbabwean police officer who died in Zambia last Thursday was laid to rest Monday amid conflicting statements that he died from cardiac arrest while Zambian newspaper reports stated he was shot by a commercial sex worker after a payment dispute.
Police Commissioner Augustine

Chihuri told mourners at Granville Cemetery that Assistant Commissioner Christopher Gapara, 37, an aide-de-camp of the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) was a “shining beacon” who had succumbed to cardiac arrest at a time he was “working on vision 2020”, a blueprint he said was aimed at strategizing policing activities.
But The Post newspaper in Zambia reported that Gapara had picked up a commercial sex worker last Thursday night and taken her to his room at Pamodzi Hotel in Lusaka for a fling.
The paper alleged that the sex worker grabbed Gapara’s handgun and pumped three shots into his body, killing him instantly after an argument over payment.
Gapara is survived by his wife Elinor and three children. – Chief Reporter
