Let’s emulate our heroes – Mutambara

HARARE
Arthur Mutambara, leader of one of the MDC factions, has repeated his party's commitment to fighting the Zanu (PF) regime head on in order to find a political solution to the debilitating crisis affecting the country.
Addressing a rally in Tsholotsho at the weekend, where he said th

ere was an attendance of about 4500 people, Mutambara said they would continue with defiance and protest methods while continuing to be involved in the Mbeki negotiations
The Mutambara faction is holding rallies across the country as the countdown continues towards next year’s elections.
In his Heroes Day commemoration speech Mutambara said the new generation of Zimbabweans must continue the legacy of the heroes by struggling for a peaceful, democratic and prosperous Zimbabwe.
“Our generational challenge is now to restore the economy and the moral fabric of our nation. At the root of our national crisis are three inter-related challenges: political illegitimacy, poor country governance, and the lack of both economic vision and strategy. We have to ask ourselves what kind of political party would effectively embrace and enhance the legacy of Josiah Tongogara and Nikita Mangena?” – Staff reporter
