Amendment to the Constitution.
In the afternoon, Zanu(PF) will table their Amendments to the 18th
Amendment Bill. This sounds confusing, and indeed it is, but what it means is
that they have reconsidered their initial proposals in the 18th Amendment
and made some serious changes, following the SADC-led negotiations in
Pretoria.
We have not yet seen these changes, but understand that they are very
positive.
Let us therefore all snap out of our glum, negative outlook and follow
the events of today, Tuesday 18th September, with hope and new faith in
our country. God willing, we CAN do it – so let’s go!
