MISCONCEIPTIONS AGAINST MDC PRESIDENT’S SPEECH IN AUSTRALIA ILL-INFORMED! (03-09-07)

I was surprised to read the apologetics of ZANU PF when they seemed surprised by MDC President Morgan Tsvangirai’s affirming of the support of the stance Australia has taken on Zimbabwe.

In the same vein The Herald ran an Editorial where they ask “what the children of ministe

rs are doing in Australia in the first place?” Thanks be to the Herald team for waking up at last to the hypocrisy they have so far been able to hide. It begins with the mindset of ZANU PF which is very confused to jigsaw status. They have always loved these Western things that they do not want to part with them. And if the team at the Herald can get into their ministers’ lounge you will be shocked they do not watch ZBC anymore; in fact they never did. And of course they do not read Zimbabwean papers such as the Herald they read the same foreign papers they prohibit others from reading. Says a lot about revolutionaries doesn’t it?

Well I was speculating but my speculation is not inferred from the space, it has a derivative and that derivative is from past experienced ZANU PF ways that one can easily extrapolate. For we all know they have been encouraging all of us to send our children for National Youth Training Services….Border Gezi Militia training and the question that should be asked is whether all those kids that are now being chased away from Australia ever went through the same humiliating training. Of course with the exception of Ambrose Mutinhiri’s children no-one else has ever bothered to send their children there. We ask Aeneas Chigwedere the Education Minister if he has faith in the curriculum since all his children acquire their education abroad. Zimbabwe’s education minister has a vote of no confidence on his product to the extent that he will not see any of his kith being fed to that poison!

These people are half-backed revolutionaries to be polite; they left the revolution in the bush once independence came. And this is why the Vitalis Zvinavashes of this world are nowhere near the Sheba Gava who liberated us; the Solomon Mujurus are a pale shadow of the character Rex Nhongo we revered; and the character Teurairopa Nhongo is buried in the bush with principles where Joice Mujuru is almost an impostor of her former self. Why honestly would you send your children away if you have faith in the system you are putting in place whose children are to be subjected to a system that all these ministers agree is not fit for purpose? What do they take Zimbabweans for? They have to agree that they messed up and surely our country needs to be redirected towards prosperity and unfortunately ZANU PF is the wrong Party for that.

Now, coming to Morgan Tsvangirai’s praise of Australia’s stance. He never said he wants Australia to expel Zimbabwean students. He is talking about the children of plunderers of our wealth and he is saying taxpayers money should be put to better use in Zimbabwe and thus in that regard Australia and every other country in the world must expel these children back to Zimbabwe. Then there is the trumpet caller and the puppet replay. This is a tired and very old tune no longer palatable for our ears. Who does not know now that Robert Mugabe and his team are the real sell outs? Find it in Tekere’s book and find it from Dzinashe Machingura (Wilfred Mhanda). They say it aloud and in very clear terms. And about sell-outs; now who are the real sell-outs those fighting to restore the dignity of their country and those who are determined to turn our country into a client if not a vassal state? Now let’s go back to 1980. Let’s look at what happened. See the amalgamation of all armies ZIPRA, Rhodesia Front and ZANLA. Notice the inclusion of the white Rhodesian Army and the exclusion of Muzorewa’s “Pfumo reVanhu” and Reverend Sithole’s ZANLA Kampala. Now go to the formation of government; notice the inclusion of Rhodesia Front…..notice the exclusion of the Reverend Ndabaningi Sithole and Bishop Abel Muzorewa. In fact they are forced into exile and Ian Smith, that very racist architect of UDI is made Mugabe’s adviser.

Travel again, come 1982. Look at ZIPRA being chucked out; look at ZAPU including Joshua Nkomo being expelled from cabinet. Now look at who has remained….Dennis Norman, David Smith, Chris Anderson etc all from the Rhodesia Front. So who is a sell-out those who expelled fellow comrades and retained their former adversaries and the MDC that seeks a normal engagement with the international community and at the same time guaranteeing prosperity for their country?

ZANU PF as a Party is a bunch of pretenders to the throne of revolutionaries and they are so skilled in the art of dumping old friends and re-engaging them when it suits them most. China, the East and the USSR, friends during the liberation struggle were dumped for the west soon after independence. They were being told that Zimbabwe had accepted their aid with no strings attached. Africa, was completely shunned; enter the West….the same people who had refused to give us guns to fight Ian Smith. It is ZANU PF that forced father Zimbabwe Joshua Nkomo and not Ian Smith into exile without any remorse. It was ZANU PF that arrested ZIPRA Supremos Lookout Mafela (Masuku) and Dumiso Dabengwa on trumped up charges at a time when Peter Walls was enjoying the fruits of independence together with his band of Selous Scouts; the same people who had butchered our brothers and sisters who had been fighting for our independence. They call MDC puppets and sell-outs; these people who soon after independence undertook to promote the speaking of only English in schools and removed Shona and Ndebele from the school curriculum….our generation only did two subjects at Grade Seven English and Mathematics and we were taught our languages in English at the instigation of these sell-outs.

They teamed up with the United Kingdom which was in the Cold War on the other side against China and the USSR coalition. Former Rhodesian Army members were used to hunt down the ZIPRA liberation struggle comrades of ZANLA at the behest of this ZANU PF government. Joshua Nkomo was labelled leader of dissidents and enemy of the state. He was made persona non grata to the same Zimbabwe he had fought so hard to liberate. Ironically, Ian Smith was enjoying the fruits of that independence, thanks to ZANU PF. ZANU PF is a sell-out Party that still shows the propensity and currently they have put Zimbabwe on offer by a string of failed economic manoeuvres. They export their children out of the problems they create for the nation. And it is very responsible of my Party President to challenge this very ZANU PF disease openly without fear or favour!
