Mudzuri was on his way back to Harare from party business in Gokwe. According to Hebson Makuvise, the MDC chief representative in London, Mudzuri sustained some broken ribs while the other three escaped with minor injuries. One of the cows smashed through the windscreen and ended up on top of Mudzuri, who was on the front passenger seat.
The vehicle, a Pajero 4X4, was extensively damaged in the collision that left two cows dead. Mudzuri was rushed to the Avenues clinic in Harare where he was treated and later released. He is now recuperating at home. – SW Radio Africa
