Mossad computerizes RG’s office

HARARE - The Registrar General's office has confirmed that the Israeli spy agency, Mossad, is handling its computerisation programme.

Senior officials confirmed information supplied by our intelligence sources last month that Mossad is installing a technology system reportedly to “enable the regime to keep records, track citizens and manipulate the electoral system”.

Visits to the Registrar General’s offices in Harare revealed that Israelis – referred as an independent company – are installing equipment and technology systems.

The RG, Tobaiwa Mudede, was said to be out of office on the several occasions when we called for his comments, but a lady who confirmed that she worked in his office said, “there is a company doing computerization but I don’t know much about them except that they are from Israel”.

Investigations revealed that the same “computerization” is being undertaken by the Israelis at the department of immigration in Harare, at the airport, at several border posts and at the Reserve Bank. – Itai Dzamara
