Magistrate Chipo Mapfeka removed the 65 from remand on the grounds of lack of evidence saying the state would proceed by way summons on the group if it finds any new incriminating evidence against them.
The state represented by Mavis Saurombe concurred with the ruling.
The 65, who were represented by attorneys David Tandire of Henning Lock Donagher and Winter and Innocent Gonese of Gonese and Ndlovu legal practitioners, pleaded not guilty.
They have been on remand since March and their lawyers successfully applied for their removal from remand hearings for lack of evidence.
MDC provincial spokesperson Pishai Muchauraya said he was happy the court had removed the party’s members from further remand hearings.
