Mossad involved in voter reg

HARARE - The Israeli spy agency, Mossad, hired by the Zanu (PF) regime is involved in behind-the-scenes preparation for next year's elections, working with the Registrar General (RG), and the Zimbabwe Election Commission (ZEC).

We reported two months ago the presence of Mossad at the RG’s offices, installing computers and technology systems, and at airports and banks assisting with security and surveillance.

Further investigations reveal Mossad’s involvement in voter registration and compilation of the voters’ roll.  We have also established a plan already underway, to enable the rigging of elections by manipulating the delimitation process – determined by voter registration patterns, which in turn are predetermined by the system based on the perceived distribution of power between the ruling party and the opposition.

“Basically, Mossad brings invaluable experience and is working on the delimitation of constituencies as well as preparation of the voters’ roll in a manner that would ensure the rigging plan to easily sail through,” a top source revealed.

“For example, it is going to emerge that almost all rural constituencies not only have extra-ordinarily high numbers of registered voters, but also need to be reduced in size while getting more polling stations.” Lesser numbers of registered voters will be claimed by ZEC, which could reduce the constituencies in urban centres, long considered strongholds for the opposition MDC.

Investigations this week at the RG and ZEC offices in Harare confirmed the clandestine involvement of the Israeli spies in the preparations being made. The official line at the RG’s headquarters is that they are installing technological equipment and systems.  “I don’t know what you are talking about,” RG, Tobaiwa Mudede retorted when asked to comment this week.  Officials at ZEC asked for written questions but didn’t respond to them.
