Zuma vows not to step down

POLOKWANE:
ASPIRING African National Congress (ANC) President, Jacob Zuma, says he would not step down despite piles of new fresh charges of corruption being levelled against him.

The party’s deputy president made the remarks on Saturday (yesterday) when he was gearing up for today’s crucial presidential election at the University of Limpopo in the provincial capital city of Limpopo province, Polokwane. 

 Zuma, who is tipped to win today’s elections maintained he would only step down when found guilty before being convicted.

Of late there has been some rife in-house power struggles between the incumbent president Thabo Mbeki and his deputy Zuma in what many people believe emanated from the of the balance of power.

 The results will be announce shortly after the voting. The voting is by secret ballot-CAJ News.
