Obert Masaraure and
Onwell Marasha of the Midlands state university (MSU) were demonstrating
against the deteriorating conditions at the University. Water problems which
have affected the university and the collapse of the education system were
the issues listed on their placards. They were taken to Gweru central police
station by members of the Zimbabwe Republic police (ZRP).The university
opened a few days ago after the Christmas recess.
