Girly-girl with a charitable heart

Designer Linda Chirisa has launched her own label.

Canadian-based Zimbabwean fashion designer Linda Chirisa has announced the official launch of her high-end clothing label, UrbanLegendWear.
Chirisa debuted the label’s first full line in Canada on March 1.
Her hopes to launch a couture label became a reality with her migration to Canada. With more time on her hands, Chirinda committed herself to experimenting with her lifelong passion for design while taking the necessary steps to launch a high-end label.
As a designer, she says she strives to create unique, standout pieces that reflect a sense of effortless elegance and glamour.
A self-proclaimed girly-girl, Chirisa primarily enjoys designing ultra-feminine dresses, gowns, and separates with a penchant for prints and details.
Forty per cent of profits from our exclusive African themed clothing will be donated to Edible Food Raiser to help raise rice and canned goods for poverty-stricken people in Southern Africa, she said.
