Born in Bulawayo, Michael Wells moved to the UK in 1998 and will be running the London Marathon on April 13 to raise funds for Homes in Zimbabwe. He hopes to raise £5000.
This will be the second time the 36-year-old will be taking part in the Marathon and, as part of his training, he has completed the Stafford Half Marathon as well as a few hundred miles of runs around Staffordshire and Derbyshire.
As well as raising funds, Michael is hoping his efforts will also raise awareness of the charity and the work they do.
