The arrests and persecutions of student activists continue its undeterred augment creating an inhabitable environment for the existence of a vibrant student’s movement. Blessing Vava, who was abducted on the 7th of May 2008, had gone to mobilise a peaceful protest in solidarity with students from Chinhoyi University of Technology which turned violent when riot officers invaded the university arresting five student leaders in the process.
