Third week in prison for WOZA members

BULAWAYO
Fourteen people arrested during a demonstration by WOZA (Women of Zimbabwe Arise) are now entering their third week in custody.

The activists are being charged with conducting activities likely to cause public disorder.

On Tuesday, the court granted bail to 12 of the 14, but Jenni Williams and Magodonga Mahlangu were ordered to remain in custody until June 20. At midnight on Thursday, however, none of those granted bail had been released.
