No one was injured. The police spokesperson, Wayne Bvudzijena said no arrests had been made but the state-owned daily newspaper, The Herald, claimed some junior policemen had been arrested.
“Both bridges suffered minimum damage and remained intact and useable. No arrests have been made yet, said Bvudzijena.
The bomb blasts come barely three weeks after a bomb went off at Harare’s central police
station, shattering windows and up-ending tables and chairs but causing minor damage and no injuries.
