Nkayi: - The councillor for ward 17 was threatened with arrest for conducting a ward meeting. Member of Parliament for Nkayi North, Sithembiso Nyoni, told him that he has no right to hold meetings at ward level yet she was addressing a meeting in Nkayi South outside her constituency.


Tsholotsho: – Villagers have passed complaints about the absence of teachers in schools at Tsholotsho. No teachers have reported to work at Mavela Secondary School while only six teachers turned up at Mvundlane Primary School. Most teachers have failed to report to work due to lack of transport fares. Villagers have also complained about the school fees that parents have to pay stating that each child has to pay ZW$1 800 and also contribute nine bricks to assist in the construction of a new classroom block.
