The Movement for Democratic Change Veteran Activists Association (MDC-VAA), affiliated to Zimbabwe’s main opposition party, was launched on October 10 at the Holy Trinity Church in Braamfontein.
“Our aim is to make sure that all Zimbabwean activists living outside their country are able to sustain themselves until the situation back home is conducive for them to return, VAA Chairperson, Solomon Chikowero said.
Chikowero announced that his association would seek audience with the Director-General of Home Affairs to foster an understanding of the Zimbabweans’ plight. – CAJ News
