Stop the violence against students in Zimbabwe

More than 500 hundred students from across the country staged a peaceful demonstration at the Parliament of Zimbabwe last week. The disgruntled students demanded an immediate redress to the current crisis in the education sector.

The students were met at the Parliament by more than 150 armed policemen. Seven students including the Zimbabwe National Students Union President, Clever Bere, were arrested with a further then injured in the process.

ACTSA and the NUS recently hosted President Clever Bere and Vice President Briliant Dube in the UK for a series of meetings. We are very concerned about the welfare of students in Zimbabwe and would like you to sign the following petition in support of our partners in ZINASU.
