It has since come to our attention that Elisha Muzonzini retired from the CIO in 2000. Andrew Muzonzini is the current head of the Internal Division of CIO, and is the one involved in the takeover of Nidderdale Farm owned by Italian farmer Fillipo Marucchi-Chiero. The Zimbabwean would like to sincerely apologise to Elisha Muzonzini for this error and the distress caused to him and his family from our story. The error was picked up in the besieged farmer’s correspondence with the Italian ambassador in Harare to whom he was seeking diplomatic protection. The error is regretted.
