This means that four of the five seats set aside for appointed senators under section 34 of the Constitution have now been filled. The other three Zanu (PF) Senators appointed in August were Vice-President Msika, John Nkomo and Chinamasa.

HARARE - During a meeting of the Senate on November 4, President Robert Mugabe appointed Joseph Made as a non-constituency Senator.
