The flyer was entitled Latest news from Zeroes Acre' and exposed the supposed actions of Reserve Bank Chief, Gideon Gono. According to the document, Gono has been channelling foreign currency funds into property in Dubai and advised his estate agent to buy two million US dollars worth of property every week until further notice.
Obviously Gono knows that his days in Zimbabwe are numbered and he wants to make sure he has billions of US dollars outside the country when the police come knocking on his door,' the flyer said.
The document referred to Gono as a thief' for using money that could be used for health care, water treatment and food production to line his own pocket.
He will continue to get richer and we will continue to get poorer, he will get fatter while our children get thinner as long as we stand quietly in the queue while he steals our money,' the flyer said.
The good news' according to the flyer was that international attention was focused on those responsible for the killing and maiming of innocent people.
Justice is catching up to them,' it said.
The flyer encouraged all Zimbabweans to unite to stop Gono the thief.'
