Mugabe believes in violence – Dabengwa

Former Zanu (PF) politburo member Dumiso Dabengwa, elected leader of the revived Zapu party, has described President Robert Mugabe as an unrepentant leader who believes in violence to maintain his hold on power.

Dabengwa said Mugabe ignored advice from other Zanu (PF) members to
cease violence. Mugabe argued that his party's hold on power could only
be fully secured through coercion.
