HARARE - Research just released by Women Of Zimbabwe Arise (WOZA) has brought to light the humanitarian failings that have created Zimbabwe's severe cholera outbreak.

The report follows the recent deaths of two WOZA leaders, victims of a
healthcare crisis that could have been avoided. Bulawayo leader
Thembelani Lunga was a 32-year-old mother of two who was the
breadwinner of an extended family. She was HIV positive and constantly
had problems accessing a regular supply of ARVs. Julia Chipeyama, 44,
died from cholera in Harare. She was laid to rest on November 20 at
Glenville Cemetery.
