An official with the institute said negotiations were already in progress with the National University of Science and Technology and the Midlands State University to launch the programmes.
He said the development would see people with the Institute's higher diploma getting an opportunity to further their education.
Last year, the chairman of the IPMZ Matabeleland branch, Ushendibaba Madume, revealed plans to enter into a strategic partnership with the two state universities.
Over the years, holders of the Institute's higher diploma have been unable to further their qualifications with the country's universities.
