Former Warriors striker, Ncube, resurfaces in SA

JOHANNESBURG - Former Zimbabwe striker Njabulo Ncube has resurfaced in South Africa in search of a club.

The former Railstars hit man, a former top goal scorer in his homeland,
is keeping himself fit playing social football in Johannesburg. He said
he was hopeful of securing a move to either the Absa Premiership or the
first division.

Ncube is one of many former Zimbabwean players who are currently club
less and playing social soccer. Two more who recently resurfaced are
former controversial Highlanders striker Thamsanqa Vundla and his team
mate Sifiso Nketha.

Zimbabwean players have, in recent years, quit their clubs and
resurfaced in South Africa owing to a lack of financial stability in
Zimbabwean football.

They are among an estimated 3 million Zimbabwean nationals that are in
South Africa where the prospects of success are greater than north of
the Limpopo.
