Govt sets winter wheat target

THE Government has set a target of 100 000 tonnes for the 2009 winter wheat cropping season. To achieve this it will need to mobilise 6 000 metric tonnes of seed, 30 000 metric tonnes of compound D and Ammonium Nitrate, 24 000 metric tonnes of lime and 7,7 million litres of fuel.
