Police pressure

Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights claimed yesterday that identified
members of the Law and Order section of Harare Central police station
arrived at the Supreme Court buildings on Wednesday in the red minibus
"which has become notorious for transporting abductees and political
prisoners". The officers asked for a meeting with the Chief Justice,
and then met with the Registrar of the Supreme Court. The same
individuals were at the court on Thursday together with an official
from the Attorney-Generals office.
