Army side, Black Rhinos were held to a goalless draw by visiting Hwange, who picked a crucial away point to maintain their position on the second position, in a Premier Soccer League match played at Rufaro Stadium, last Saturday.

If Rhinos continue to display such a dismal performance, the going will certainly be tough.

Hwange were unfortunate not to win a penalty, 28 minutes into play when
Black Rhinos' Shadreck Jimu tackled a determined striker, Thulani Moyo,
in the box.

But referee Cosmas Chafa, decided against it with a disappointed Moyo
calling on the ground. James Phiri's attempt to finish an otherwise
dead ball still in lay was in vain as he sent it wide.

Hwange did not find a rewarding finish up front after a skillful attack
from the middle of the park, though dominating the whole of the first
half.

Moyo again came strong from the middle of the park to cross a clean
pass to Mthokozo Tshuma, who opened up in the right flank but his cross
was too fast for an attacking Farai Vimisai, in the 30th minute.

Three minutes later Phiri sent a short over the bar having left unmarked in the box with enough space to map his target.

Rhinos' Kastigu Juwakinyu could have powered his side with three points
five minutes before being called out for Danmore Joronawo by coach,
Gift Makoni, in the 84th minute but his forceful header was cleared by
Mairosi Phiri, near the line.

Lazarus Muhoni came with a header in the 65th minute after a brilliant
cross by Kelvin Tongoona but destruction by a Hwange defender who
blocked the ball denied the hosts a potential score.
