Cholera cases subside countrywide

cholera-treatment-tent-zim.jpgTHE cholera epidemic in the country has passed its worst, with both the rate of infection and fatalities falling, according to the World Health Organisation.

The number of new cases in the week ended 14th March was 2,076 – still high, but down from 3,812 the week before. WHO said there were more than 8,000 infections a week at the start of last month.
